I had been to the Jama Masjid several times, but never got a chance to take a view from the top, to identify the literal meaning of mosque that commands a view of the world (masjid-i-jahan numa - another name of the Jama Masjid).  The minaret gave me a wonderful view of the old city of Delhi and made be push and huddle amidst a thronging of people ( Read more... )
